New 2020 Summer Camp Programs
The following camps have space:
Backyard Exploration Backpacks (ages 4-10)
Take this kit into your backyard or local park for some nature exploration fun! Backpack includes 2 magnifying glasses, 2 bug boxes, 2 lesson plans, craft instructions, 1 recipe, and a surprise! Pick up at Woodend M, T, Th, F, or Sa from 11 am-3 pm. $45. Order online here. Camp T-shirts also available!

*To receive scholarship funding, campers must be on a free or reduced-price school lunch program or be able to provide documentation that they are unable to pay camp fees.
For in-person camps, campers must have transportation to and from camp, which is located in Chevy Chase, MD.

Audubon Adventures
Week of 8/24 (8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. OR 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. FULL)
Members $450/nonmembers $535
Come explore our 40-acre nature sanctuary with us! We’ll catch frogs in the pond, roll logs in the woods, and race through the meadow! All state health and safety protocols will be followed with a 4:1 camper teacher ratio. Campers must be MD residents.

CAMP AUDUBON
Woodend Sanctuary is a 40-acre oasis just outside Washington, DC in the middle of Chevy Chase, MD. Bordering Rock Creek Park, the sanctuary contains mature woods and meadows, a pond, and an intermittent stream that provide habitat for many birds, insects, deer, rabbits, and foxes. Open lawns provide activity space, and well-maintained nature trails permit safe nature exploration.
