wholefoods AUDUBON_Profile

Since 2010 Whole Foods Market has contributed more than $60,000 in financial and in-kind support to the Audubon Naturalist Society, including receipts from our highly successful 2011 county-wide 5% day and generous grants from Whole Kids Foundation and Whole Foods Market regional office. Whole Foods Market's generous support enabled ANS to successfully launch GreenKids Salad Science in 12 Montgomery County Public Schools in 2011. Not only have Whole Foods Montgomery County stores adopted a GreenKids Salad Science school, but store managers and employees actively participate on-site throughout the year alongside ANS GreenKids instructors.

As a small token of our appreciation for their long-standing and generous support, ANS presented Whole Foods Market Montgomery County with our first-ever corporate appreciation award in October 2011.
